Moving Stills

If you are looking at this site you already know about the moving beauty of a still image. Whether on a gallery wall, in a book or casually glanced at in a magazine a superbly crafted photograph has a powerful intangible quality.


The future of high definition display media is an exiting prospect for me. In this new arena I am currently mixing photography with my experience as a lighting cameraman and producing projects I am calling 'Moving Stills'. (Hey, I have to call it something). My approach is to shoot and retouch products and portraits with the intensity of a still image but with the added dimension of motion. The ’Moving Stills’ projects bring a jewel-like quality to your imagery for web, portable devices and future HD display media. New galleries of this work will be launched on this website in the very near future.
